It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father Battista Mascaro. He passed away suddenly at St Joseph's Hospital on Monday, June 19, 2017. Son of the late Giovanni and Vittoria Mascaro. Devoted husband of 50 years to Antonietta Mascaro. Loving and dedicated father to Giovanni (Silvia) and Vittorio. He will be forever missed by his two grandsons Gianni and Massimo. They will always love and adore their Nonno. Battista was a caring friendly soul who took great pride in his garden, homemade wine and sausages. He loved to share with family and friends. He worked for the City of Etobicoke for 31 years and retired in 2003. He was a happy loving man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held at the G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Ave., on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, 2- 4 & 6-9 p.m. Funeral mass will take place at St Leo's Church 277 Royal York Rd. on Thursday June 22, 2017 at 10 a.m. Entombment at ParkLawn Mausoleum (2845 Bloor St. W., Etobicoke)
