Obituary for Dmytro Vavryshchuk

Dmytro Vavryshchuk was born on February 11th 1989 in Ukraine. He grew up with his parents and grandparents who all loved him very much. In 1999 the whole family immigrated to Canada and this move was very hard on Dima ( that’s how he was usually called). But he eventually made the transition and got adjusted to life in Canada. He studied and was passionate about martial arts, became a brown belt in karate and went on to do bodybuilding.
Dima loved flowers, he always brought more and more plants to grow them at home.He always had a piece of nature in his room: he had a fish aquarium, plants and etc. He loved to bring flowers to his mom.
In recent years he would work out a lot and wanted to look physically fit… and his work paid off. Friends remember him as being kind, hardworking and with a big smile.
His mother Lyudmila and his father Sergei loved him so much , so seeing him go at such a young age breaks their hearts. The memories will be alive but their son will not be. The sadness is enormous and the grief is bitter.
His only brother Ivan will have to accept the reality of losing his only sibling. His grandmother in Ukraine is grieving and his other grandparents in Ukraine will miss their grandson terribly. His aunt and his two cousins are heartbroken and devastated aswell.
His friends at work saying good bye and are going to miss Dima’s cheerful comments, willingness to help and ability to work hard.
Dima had a big "extended family” here in Canada and they are all saying good bye to a friend, to “a sibling”, and to a sweet boy. We all loved him so much…His life had ended on Sunday night September 17th at 8pm due to heart failure.
It would be greatly appreciated that any donations in Dmytro’s memory be made to the family to help pay for the funeral and burial expenses. A donation box will be available.
