Gerardo (Gerry) passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, November 24th at the age of 72. Loving son to his late parents Soccorsa and Rosario Scalcione.  Loving brother to Antonietta and her late husband Umberto Vuocolo, the late Nicola and wife Nella Scalcione, Eliseo and wife Antonietta Scalcione, the late Giuseppe Scalcione, and Maria and husband Tonino Viola. Beloved cousin, uncle, great uncle and great-great uncle to many nieces and nephews and beloved Dad to his dog, Sandy, whom he cherished.  

Lovingly referred to as “Uncle Gerry”, he was a retired Air Canada passenger agent who had a kind and gentle nature, with a great sense of humour.  He had a passion for cars, trivia, classic movies, and loved watching the Raptors and the Blue Jays.  

He will be greatly missed by many.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022 - 10:00 a.m. at St. Leo’s Catholic Church. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Woodbridge.  Lin lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.(Click Here)
