Condolence: I am extremely shock and upset in hearing the news of Dan passing. Dan was very supported, helpful and encouraging. He helped me when I had lost my previous job that I worked at for 21 years. He made me feel good about myself and took time to sit with me with my resume and give me a lot of good advice and the tools I needed for my job search. He shared many of his success stories and made as laugh.
My condolences to his family will keep you in our prayers in this difficult time, Dan will truly be missed.

Condolence From: Sharon Hussein-Swanton (Colleague in Jobs Caledon, CCS)
Condolence: I am truly shocked and heartbroken to hear of Dan’s passing today. My thoughts are with Dan’s wife, Judy, his sons and grandchildren, and his other family and friends during this difficult time.
I've known Dan for about 5 years during our time at Caledon Community Services. I have fond memories of Dan, from him telling me (along with his other female colleagues) that I was “looking as radiant as the morning sun” to having talks about married life with my husband on the rare occasions when Derek came up to the office to drop something off for me. Dan would always put a smile on mine and everyone’s faces.
Dan, I will miss our talks of “The Walking Dead” or any other sci-fi/horror show that we were watching at the time. Thank you for being a great mentor and passing the torch to me. I will always appreciate the kindness that you’ve shown me at CCS. I hope you’re enjoying that cigar at the cottage in the sky.

Condolence: We are all so sorry for your loss. We cannot think of a time when Daniel was not smiling and happy on his dock. It was clear that he was incredibly happy spending time with his grandchildren, and his cottage was always a place of laughter and joy. It is hard to imagine the dock without him. He was always a funny, kind and considerate neighbour, who was ready to help out whenever we needed it. Thinking of you all.
