I also met Dorothy through Oxford Church Music in Oxford and then joined she and Penny in Rome and Venice and was so blessed by her enthusiasm and love for adventure. Dorothy was so intelligent and inspiring as she shared stories from a life well-lived. Her influence and good sense were pervasive in all she undertook and her love of her family was stellar. Really, Dorothy Wheeler will always be remembered by anyone she called her friend. When my son, Jeffrey, graduated from Theatre School at George Brown, Dorothy and Penny came to his final performance and graduation dinner with me. They made a memorable occasion even more memorable by their presence. My thoughts are with you as you remember your remarkable wife, Mother and family member. Her beautiful light will continue to shine in everyone who has been touched by her.
