Sharon Hussein-Swanton (Colleague in Jobs Caledon, CCS)

I am truly shocked and heartbroken to hear of Dan’s passing today. My thoughts are with Dan’s wife, Judy, his sons and grandchildren, and his other family and friends during this difficult time. I've known Dan for about 5 years during our time at Caledon Community Services. I have fond memories of Dan, from him telling me (along with his other female colleagues) that I was “looking as radiant as the morning sun” to having talks about married life with my husband on the rare occasions when Derek came up to the office to drop something off for me. Dan would always put a smile on mine and everyone’s faces. Dan, I will miss our talks of “The Walking Dead” or any other sci-fi/horror show that we were watching at the time. Thank you for being a great mentor and passing the torch to me. I will always appreciate the kindness that you’ve shown me at CCS. I hope you’re enjoying that cigar at the cottage in the sky.
